What is “The Workshop”?
A kid friendly cafe with indoor playground. It offers a selection of soups, salads, appetizers’ and Asian-Western meals. Kids menu is also available such as Mac Says Cheezee and Tomato Eggy Baked Rice. There is also some homemade cupcakes and desserts.
Where is “The Workshop”?
Located at 3rd Floor of Jalan Radin Bagus 7, Sri Petaling. To find the café, look for the stairs leading to Bako Korean BBQ and then take the lift to the third floor.
(Note: It is very difficult to find parking during lunch hour at Sri Petaling. So, we parked at the nearby outdoor parking and pay RM5/entrance parking fee)
What is the Play Rates?
There is no entrance fee to the indoor playground if you order at least one main meal from their menu. Because I have two kids, they allowed me to order one main meal and one kids meal.
What I Like About This Place?
The main attraction here is the mini indoor playground at the corner of the café. All kids and parents need to wear socks before entering the indoor playground. If you forgot your socks, you may purchase it from the counter with RM5/pair. This is the 1st time we visit an indoor playground. My daughter had hours of fun here which houses some slides, steps/ ladder, a trampoline, a pool of balls, basketball net, …etc.
While the kids play to their heart’s content in a secure area, we as the parents can dine-in peace and chit chat. However, the dining area and play area is divided by shelf. As such, parents unable to keep an eye on the kids while they play because the view is blocked by the shelf. We have to walk to the entrance of the play area to check on them.
Another thing that I like about this place is the toilets are kid-friendly too with 2 kid-sized toilet and sink for the mini people. So, they can go to the toilet themselves.
The Workplace is also a perfect venue to throw a children party.
