TC Chantel Cafe is a western-chinese cuisine restaurant situated in Ground Floor, Residensi Park Bukit Jalil and within walking distance to the Pavillion Bukit Jalil. There are plenty of parking in the basement parking and parking fee is RM2 for an hour.
As you enter the place you are welcomed by bright yellow, white and pink setting. A delightful marriage of simplicity and modernity.
Sitting in any table on the right side of the shop, there are cosy pink sofas with leather. For those who sits on the other side of the shop, you have a spacious and comfy area between tables.
We had one of their signature dish named Barbecue Pork with Rice. It is actually Char Siew Rice comes with sunny side up egg accompanied by Yau Mak vegetables. Rice portion is quite small and the BBQ pork portion tasted bland for me.
Another dish that we tried is Deep Fried Chicken Lemon Rice Set. The fried chicken is soft and not flavourful enough. I prefer crispy battered chicken pieces. However, this dish is kids-friendly as my kids like the sweet and tangy lemon sauce over the chicken and rice.
The milk tea is below average as it doesn’t have the rich and creamy flavour of Hong Kong milk tea.
The hot lemon tea that comes with the set meal is so fresh, smells amazing, and tastes so good. It gives you a boost of vitamin C to keep your immune system healthy.
Both set meals that we ordered is RM14.90 each and comes with Soup of the day and Beverage (Lemon Tea/ Milk Tea/ Green Tea).
Average price for set meals is RM14.90 and RM12.90 for ala Carte. All the dishes are MSG free.
When we were browsing the menu located at their shop front, the waitress came out to explain and recommend their best selling food. Waiting time is reasonable as food is served within 15minutes.
