Steamed Chicken is an aromatic and easy to prepare dish. The chicken is steam and then drizzled with hot oil & light soy sauce. It is super easy to make and healthy. Steamed chicken is so easy to prepare and steaming is the healthier cooking method.
Ingredients:
- Chicken, chop into small pieces
- 1 stalk scallions, chop thinly,
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
Seasoning:
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, to taste
- 1 tablespoon light soya sauce
Steps:
- Clean the chicken & rub salt evenly on all sides of the chicken.
- In a wok/ saucepan, fill water to 2/3 level & let it boil.
- Put the plate inside and steam on high heat for about 15 – 20minutes.
- If a chopstick can easily poke thru the chicken, then it is ready to be serve.
- While waiting for chicken, saute minced garlic and ginger in hot oil until golden brown in color.
- When the chicken is done, drizzle the aromatic sauce evenly over the steam chicken.
- Garnish with balance chopped scallion & served hot with light soya sauce.
