Normal bra is not recommended for nursing mummies as it is not designed to provide adequate support or may even put pressure on the breasts. This may cause blocked ducts, infection and affect the flow of breast milk.

Most nursing bras are designed to allow insertion of bra pads to adsorb leaking milk at night or between feedings. Consider wearing a sleep bra with breast pads as breasts may feel heavy or leak milk at night.

- Material: Choose soft & stretchy materials
- Open & Close: Consider how it open & close when nursing. Some hook, snap or simply push the cup to the side.
- The Fit: Wider straps to reduce shoulder pain
- Cup Style: Avoid underwire bra for better circulation & promote healthy milk production.
- Note: Too Tight and/or underwire bra could cause plugged milk ducts, mastitis or a decrease in your milk supply.
