What do you mean by no added sugars? Is it the same as no sugar?
When a product label says “no added sugars” it means that no sugar was added during the manufacturing of the product. The product may still contain naturally occurring sugars such as Fructose in fruits and Lactose in milk.
How do I tell if my milk has added sugars?
The best way is to check the Ingredients List on the product label. Look out for the names of added sugars – common examples: Corn syrup solids, Glucose syrup solids, or anything that ends with “-ose” If these names are listed, it means there are added sugars in the product.
