Ginger Tea

Ginger tea is a spicy, warming, invigorating, caffeine-free alternative to black tea or coffee. Widely used in various cultures to relieve a sore throat or cough, fight colds, nausea and morning sickness, ginger root has been found to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and is believed to have numerous health benefits.

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 slices of Ginger
  • 1 cup of Boiling Water
  • 1/2 Lemon Juice, Juiced (optional)
  • 1-2 tablespoon Honey (optional)

5 Easy Steps to Make Ginger Tea:

  1. Peel the skin of the ginger with peeler or spoon.
  2. Put the ginger directly in a mug.
  3. Add the boiling water and cover with the lid. Allow it to steep for 10 minutes.
  4. Add lemon juice and honey (optional).
  5. Stir & enjoy.
