Chicken Wrap is made with very simple ingredients and can be made in less than 15 mins. It is a healthy all-in-one meal as it contains vegetable, protein and carbohydrate. It is perfect for a simple snack or quick breakfast.
You may replace teriyaki chicken with other meat/ flavour such as black pepper chicken, lemon salmon, or just wrap with vegetables. Depending on personal preference, you may add/replace with your favourite vegetables such as lettuce leave (iceberg), tomatoes, and spring onions, seaweed, cheese and etc.
Ingredients:
- 4 Wholegrain Wrap
- 4 chicken fillets
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1 cucumber, shredded
Seasoning:
- 2 teaspoon light soy sauce
- 2 teaspoon weipa
- 1 tbsp sesame sauce / thousand island sauce
Steps:
- Clean the chicken fillets.
- Place the chicken strips in a small bowl with the marinade, cover and place in the fridge for 30 minutes, or for maximum flavour leave overnight.
- To cook chicken fillet, heat oil on pan, remove chicken from marinade and cook on each side for 5 minutes or until cooked through. Allow to cool before slicing.
- Place a Wholegrain Wrap flat on a breadboard and arrange cucumber, carrot, chicken fillet, and egg.
- Spread sesame sauce / thousand island sauce over the surface.
- Wrap and roll tightly, then cut in half. That’s it, enjoy!
