Hoshino Coffee at the Midvalley mall which previously housed the 1 Michelin Star dim sum restaurant known as Tim Ho Wan. It was a shocking news to find out that the famous Dim Sum restaurant closes really soon after being successful in other parts of the world.
My kids’ playdate parents recommended this new place as there is a nice small room for children to play. However, there will be long queue on weekends and holidays. So, we drop-by this place on Friday noon after the children finished school.
Environment at Hoshino Coffee, MidValley
It is located between Midvalley and The Garden. The entrance is facing the fountain.
Ample of seats on the second floor with comfortable couch and chair. We send hours chatting here because even ladies and gent’s washroom is on this floor.
Once reach second floor, the playroom is clearly visible with high clear glass. There are lots of English and Japanese books, colourful tables and chairs, and soft toys. My kids and her playmates spend almost 5hours playing in this small playroom (only out to the washroom and during meal time).
The reception/ cashier view from the playroom.
The fountain view from Hoshino second floor.
